| No advertisement needed - Sil has turned the Angband world on it's head. If you haven't played it yet, now's the time. Some advice from half: I'd strongly advise anyone who hasn't played before to play the tutorial first. Sil is really quite different to Angband, and this short tutorial explains all the main differences. Most notable about the competition character, Turgon, is that he knows the Song of Slaying (which has been slightly improved in this version of Sil). This means that he can enhance his combat ability by singing it (press 's' then 'b' to start, or 's' then 's' to stop). It gives a bonus to attack that increases with each kill while singing it, and then fades slowly over time. Winner is the highest score. Sil 1.0.2 is available from the home page. | |
