Something you may not have known: spiders (among others) are territorial in Sil, so if you can get out of line of sight they will stop pursuing you.

Finally, some headway. What do you do when your stats are eaten away????

You need potions of the corresponding stat to restore 3 points each. Lembas will return 1 point of grace. Mushrooms of restoration also restore stats, but I forget the number of points they restore... I think it's 3. Once you know what creatures drain stats, just try and avoid them if you can help it. My absolute most hated is the purple mold. It just sits there and I run into it like a moron and lose a point of Con, 9 times out of 10.
