Before i dropped down to 700 " something was chasing me...what it was I don't know. I suspect it was a horror because it corroded my boots and gauntlets. Which sucks. I don't know if its worth buying Keen senses for stuff like this....I feel like i need to get my melee and evasion up a bit. Plus that dec point from stealth. Originally I wanted to try a song based character, but I think I'm going with the stealth template here. If I didn't have vanish I would have died at least once from wandering cats....as it was I used a Con potion and a Quickness to deal with the cats that had me backed in a corner.

You can always do what i'm doing on my latest build... get song of sharpness shortly before going to the throne room. Based on the experience I had in my first win, I would say song of sharpness is just about required especially if you want more than one silmaril. It might also be possible if you just had a couple weapons that cut through armor, but even those can fail and break.

Thanks for the tip...I've never been able to get out more than one Silmaril. But then again I've never been able to wipe out everything in the Throne room like some of the other guys. For my first win I had a cuts through armor weapon and was able to get one Silmaril only.

Red R's do a lot of damage and me with no Fire resistance. I thought that I could knock it out quickly...but that did not happen. I was pretty close to being throne room ready too. Damn it!
