I buffed up before taking the snapshot, with heroism (spell), berserk strength (potion) and bless (which only affects to hit, not damage). Im not sure what exactly those do. I have since rolled a fresh randart set, but if someone really wants me to, I can reload the old one and post unbuffed numbers.

Edit: also the spells that cause weapons to slay evil and demons, from the last green book.

7 blows makes 913.5 per round, not 1211.

So that's off a fair bit. But even more the slay undead version should only multiply the 13d8 so it should be:

      (13*4.5*3 + 72)*7 = 1732.5 per round, not 2472.4.

      What am I missing?
The original game calculation will include criticals, which make a MASSIVE difference on a 40lb weapon like a MoD. For a dagger, almost nothing.

Also they will inlclude the inherent + To Dam for a character with potentially 18/220 STR, which is also quite significant.

I didnt find this, but I have never seen a better piece of body armor:

the Black Dragon Scale Mail of Tirimbar (-2) [16,+26] <+10, +1>
        ---------------------------------------------------------------
A suit of utterly black scales, against which no metal or wood can rest.

        +1 attack speed.
        Provides resistance to Acid, Light.
        Grants telepathy.

When aimed, it breathes a cone of acid with width 20 degrees, dealing 120

            Now _this_ I found:

the Cutlass of Regol (1d8) (+6,+7)
Dropped by a blacklock mage at 1350 feet (level 27)

            Cannot be harmed by Acid.

            Combat info:
            1.6 blows/round.
With +2 STR and +0 DEX you would get 2.0 blows
With +0 STR and +3 DEX you would get 2.0 blows
            Average damage/round: 39.5.

And no, I havent edited out any lines.

I killed Grishnakh, and all he dropped were two shovels and a ring of slow digestion. Five minutes later, a terrified yeek dropped this:

              a) the Long Sword of Ithon (3d5) (+10,+11) [+10] <+1>
Dropped by a terrified yeek at 650 feet (level 13)

              +1 wisdom.
Slays undead (powerfully), dragons (powerfully), demons
(powerfully), giants, orcs, animals, evil creatures.
              Branded with weak acid.
              Provides resistance to Light, Nether.
              Provides protection from confusion.
              Cannot be harmed by Acid.
Slows your metabolism. Feather Falling. Speeds regeneration.
Grants the ability to see invisible things. Blessed by the gods
              (combat bonuses for holy casters).

              Combat info:
              1.0 blows/round.
With +2 STR and +0 DEX you would get 1.1 blows
With +0 STR and +2 DEX you would get 1.1 blows
Average damage/round: 74.6 vs undead, dragons, and demons, 53.1 vs
giants and orcs, 42.3 vs animals, evil creatures, and creatures
not resistant to acid, and 31.5 vs. others.

To be fair, a terrified yeek *is* more dangerous than Grishnak.

Yet another HE mage winner. One thing I did not find is this
                      the Shining Dragon Scale Mail of Morin (-2) [32,+40] <+3, +2, +4>
                      -----------------------------------------------------------------
A suit of scales shining like a beacon of Light even as it greedily sucks the
energy away from everything that glows into Dark insatiate.

                      +3 strength.
                      +2 dexterity.
                      +4 constitution.
                      +3 stealth.
                      +4 infravision.
It brands your melee attacks with weak lightning.
                      Provides immunity to Acid.
Provides resistance to Lightning, Fire, Cold, Poison, Light, Dark, Shards,
                      Nether, Chaos, Disenchantment.
                      Provides protection from blindness, confusion.
Slows your metabolism. Prevents paralysis. Sustains your life force.

When activated, it allows you to breathe balance for 250 damage.
Takes 196 to 288 turns to recharge.
Your chance of success is 98.2%

Min Level 100, Max Level 127, Generation chance 11, Power 851, 18.0 lbs
Random dragon armor of power 851.
No speed or telepathy but just about anything else.

                      This I *did* find:
the Ring of Ellon <+3, +2>
                      --------------------------
                      +3 strength.
                      +2 intelligence.
                      +2 tunneling.
                      +3 movement speed.
Provides resistance to Acid, Cold, Light, Dark, Shards, Nether.
                      Cannot be harmed by Lightning.
                      Prevents paralysis.

When activated, it creates a lightning bolt (that always beams) with damage
                      6d6.
Takes 41 to 45 turns to recharge.
Your chance of success is 99.0%

Min Level 43, Max Level 127, Generation chance 15, Power 257, 0.2 lbs
                      Random ring of power 257.
May not seem much but found that early on and that movement +3 is just insane, for mage especially. Could run circles around death quasit and rain bolts on it.

FAA randart; actually kind of hard to fit in because speed is hard to accumulate, but maybe with two good rings?

I'd have liked to have found this, since I might not be dead now:

                            ------------------------------------------------

                            Branded with weak cold.
                            Provides immunity to Fire.

                              Worst level ever

Got 'something worthwhile' feeling on DL18. Good! Early artifact!
                              Turned out to be this:

                              Cloack 'Eluil' [1, -14] <-4> {cursed}:
Found on the floor at 900 feet.

It makes you vulnerable to fire but resistant to cold
It paralyses you every now and then.
