This guy is moving slowly, but is the first of his line to survive to DL10. I gave up on my goal of diving at the rate of DL=CL. This Dungeon is too tough for that, since I am not familiar with the monsters in this variant yet. The spear of extra attacks (+2) is something I just ID'ed. I think it will make a big difference, combined with finally having enough money for a few ?PD and healing potions.
