Anyway, I'm posting him because he managed to find the entire Gothmog set during a single trip to the Sandhole. Not only was it enormously helpful for scumming, but he later used it to beat Durin's Bane and Nycademon in melee (and fairly easily at that). Definitely my only spell caster to try that at level 32.

If I had gone up Mt. Doom earlier, I could have saved some exp (exp gained between levels 30 and 35 has to be carefully watched, plus you have to hit Mt Doom before doing Angband to keep from chasing Sauron there). Plus, I saw a pink 'p' on top of Mt Doom and had to fight through the usual monsters plus Smaug, Pazuzu, and Vecna to find out it was only the Mouth of Sauron (I didn't mind taking the exp for Vecna, though, since he killed Precocious Boy's predecessor - Overachiever).

Anyway, it was a fun project.
