I'm being pretty careful about which quests he finishes, as I'm trying to avoid giving him unnecessary exp. I think the only quests he'll do, in fact, will be the Bree series (Thieves for the House, Wights for the Rag, and Uvatha for his ring) and the Loth house quest (wolves aren't worth much exp, and the spiders just aren't worth it).

He's had some pretty excellent hp-to-sp ratios so far. Probably the best was 98 hp and 776 sp.

Made a mistake in following Eru. Clearly Overachiever's going to have to wear the One Ring to keep exp to a minimum (TONS of exp from clearing Mt Doom) and Eru will drop him after that. Oh well. Maybe he'll switch to Melkor. Never tried switching gods before, should be interesting.

Made it down to level 99 in Angband by level 32, but it still wouldn't let him into Dol Guldur. Almost killed in one round by a level 99 sabertoothed tiger. Nasty piece of work.

Then knocked off all of the End of Dungeon bosses, and made level 33, but still can't get into Erebore to get Glaurung or Dol Guldur for the Necromancer. Looks like Overachiever will have time to hunt for dungeon towns after all.

Unfortunately, his mission did not end in success. He took out the Necromancer without much trouble, and then had to bump off Sauron three times to get the ring. The second time, he had to pry Sauron out of Mt Doom which was tricky to do without racking up a huge amount of exp.

Finally, Sauron was dead, and Overachiever gathered his equipment and put on the ring. Sauron took a while to find for the final battle, but went down without too much trouble.

Unfortunately, Overachiever never got to Morgoth. Overachiever was fleeing a big pack of Dreads and there was a set of stairs right there. However, Vecna had LOS on the stairs, but only the stairs. So, even if he was awake, he'd only get in one round. How bad could it be?

Instakill mana storm. Overachiever - dead at level 38 and I didn't get the dump.

Darn. The potential was there for a sub-40 winner. I'll have to try again.
