Manasurge (or whatever its called), is currently inscribed into a mage staff, and makes a nice cheap alternative to some of my thaumaturgy spells. This is really useful when fighting through enemies too weak to waste thaumaturgy on.

BTW, it should be noted that i have, at least temporarily, ditched the full esp for a more powerful weapon.
