Eru priests do not seem to be common. I wonder why - they are very fun to play, what with mindcrafting for speed, heal, armor, mana-drain, area-kill and precog, manathrust for tough monsters, and eru for mass id and lay of protection.

Two immunities, but not the most important one. I've found some pretty impressive mage wands of power (up to +11), but I need the sp. The most challenging thing I've done lately is clearing a pit of raal's tome of destructions (and some harmless things). They are usually my downfall, but I survived this time. Manathrust is becoming more and more important, as expected, since mindcraft powers grow much more slowly in power than magic powers.

And finally fire immunity. All god quests completed, but my prayer was maxed before that anyway.

I got a wolf pelt of Air as a reward for saving a princess from some elder vampires (I felt the lack of hold life). Should this char manage to beat Morgoth this might actually be useful.

I just collected a lost sword from 9 Nycademons. That sure was fun. Small level with three rooms and a few corridors, and nycademons love summoning, so the first rooms got filled up with greater demons. By jumping around a lot I managed to coax all demons out of one of the rooms, to the other side of a mountain chain, so I had a place to rest. Bloodletters, a Bloodthirster, two Keepers of Secrets, lots of Vrocks and a Lesser black reaver. Yum yum.

I need to repace my ring of confusion resistance with a ring of speed, but I haven't fount any dungeon towns yet. I guess I'll head for mora soon.

Princess quest for 12 bone golems. Like nycademons, only more hp and worse summons. During the first try I defeated half of them, lots of vampires and two ringwraiths, but made no progress after that, and had to return without collecting the loot. After that I tried Law of Protection, and that sure helped a lot, since it stopped them from summoning. What a great spell! Unfortunately I was summoned to help Gondolin during the fight, so I'll have to finish it later. Saving gondolin was much easier than saving one poor princess ^^.

After yet another round of bone golems I got vorpal blade (what a *nice* sword! ofcourse an eru-priest of all classes has to find this sword) and the mattock of thrain. Finally a decent thing to put in my tool slot.

Level fifty! ^_^ This is my first real char to reach that lvl (I did it with a deathmold lostsoul sorc a while ago, but that doesn't count). I have explored the sandworm lair (lots of potions), Ruhn (boring and empty) and Erebor (fun), where I killed Smaug and Saruman, neither of which were much trouble. I hope to find a better cloak soon.

The equipment-juggeling is starting to get a bit challenging now. As far as I can see I have the choice between 1500 sp and 1070 hp + reflect and pretty good speed or a bit over 1000 sp, 1250 hp, lower speed, one extra immunity (acid), and no reflect.. Getting the last one makes me loose nether resist, though, so I am using the first at the moment.

The Necromancer is dead, so are the rebel thunderlords and the troll invasion, and the crypt in angband is cleared (that was a fun and difficult level). Lebohaum is great! ^^. I lost blindness resist, but AC is much higher. Perhaps this char has a chance?

Dim gates finished, but I'm not sure I can use the ring. I saw my first great wyrms of power there, but I did not date to figt them. I have heard that probability travel is supposed to work even on special levels, but I did not get it to work. I also skimmed through heclaraxe and killed the wite balrog (pushover) but got nothing worthfile for it.

Mount doom is cleared, the one ring has been destroyed, and Sauron is dead. Now to challenge morgoth. I am a bit unhappy that I can't seem to find an equipment combination that will let me use the rings of power, but the current one is not that bad either. Perhaps the ring of tulkas or flare could replace the ring of constitution. I just need to find them first ^_^;

I find myself relying heavily on Lay of Protection now, which I guess is not that bad, since Ohm is priest of eru after all. It helped me get through mount doom without being summoned to death.

After many tries morgoth was generated, and he fell pretty quickly. I did have to heal a lot, though, so I will go on a potion hunt later. This is my first winner! ^_^ Viktoly!! *pose*

I think this was a pretty easy class; though a priest of eru has pretty low offensive power they have great defence and utility spells (lay of protection and mindcraft). My most used spells in angband:

1. manathrust
2. precognition
3. minor displacement
4. character armor
5. adrenaline channeling
6. lay of protection
7. telekinetic wave

This list was quite different around lvl 30, with neural blast, pulverize and especially mindwave prominent on the list, but those are pretty useless later on. This indicates that they don't progress correctly, in my opinion.
