Based on a suggestion from Anonymoushero I decided to try an antimagic Possessor. Since I wouldn't be able to use any body powers I just went for the biggest tank I could get. I was lucky that Atlas dropped a body; otherwise I could have gone with a Marilith and triple-wielded.
Since I wanted to eventually max out fighting skills and antimagic I had to hoard points. I didn't put anything into Corpse-preservation or Monster-lore (I did a lot of quests to raise the latter). I used ML to get a bevy of GWoP companions which helped tremendously.
I did the regular dungeons through Mordor but skipped past the FF quests so that I could go back and try to get AM. Once I got Atlas I decided to commit to that and did the FF quests. From the 15 FF quests i had skipped I was only offered AM once, which sucked (there is nothing worse than low level AM). Then I got AM from the next two quests in Angband and maxed it out.
Since i don't have a cloak of Air I decided not to mess with the Void. I don't think it would be that difficult but it is a boring slog.

Ancalagon also dropped, but without his breath attacks and with the limited slots he would be considerably worse. If I had gone with Barehand instead of Weaponmastery I could have tried for him with a GWoP as a backup.
