Congrats on switching class to ranger.

Or if you already were a ranger, I guess now you're a machinegun.

Not too bad for a Dungeon Level 15 drop!

This is going to come in handy. Although it probably just means something will immediately kill me.

Hmm. That screenshot is appearing way too small. I don't know why. So here's the item:

    Short Bow 'Coimor' (x4) (+19, +18) <+2>
    +2 shooting speed
    +2 shooting power
    Provides immunity to fire
    Provides protection from fear
Cannot be harmed by acid, fire
    Sustains constitution.

When activated, it grants cold resistance for d20+20 turns and create a cold ball of damage 75. Takes 90 to 110 turns to recharge. Your chance of success is 83.3%.

When aimed, it randomly breathes a cone of sound, shards, chaos or
disenchantment with width 20 degrees, dealing 250 damage at the source.
    Takes 50 turns to recharge.
Your chance of success is 95.8%

    Together, not bad

    Some things I'm wearing now:

Iron Helm of Dorisil [7,+9] <+4>
Dropped by Brodda, the Easterling at 1450 feet (level 29)

    +4 speed
provides resistance to fire, cold, sound.
    Cannot be harmed by acid

Pair of Leather Sandals of Areth [1,+17] <+3>
Dropped by Kavlax the Many-Headed at 1700 feet (level 34)

    +3 intelligence
Provides resistance to dark, nether, disenchantment.
    Provides protection from blindness.
Cannot be harmed by acid, fire.
    Sustains constitution.
    Speeds regeneration. Prevents paralysis.

When activated, it creates a large fire ball with damage 200.

Looks like the shoemaker got drunk with helmet maker and their design docs got mixed up...

Dropped by a priest at DL10? That's memorable. Especially after Smeagol, Wormtongue, and Bullroarer dropped nothing but gold!

It's good enough to last them through the midgame at least; I'd call that pretty memorable. Would you consider it memorable to find Forasgil at 500'?

    The short sword "Imlost."
Nothing amazing on it, but ... well, I left it behind, so its name is quite accurate.

I'm playing a weak Hobbit Rogue and had been stuck shuttling back and forth between DL 13 and 14 because I hadn't found an even remotely adequate hand weapon or any decent armour. Then I got a level feeling of 7... found black dragon scale mail... and then...

    Yep, that'll do it.

    not a randart but wow!

Power Dragon Scale Mail at 750 Level 15 playing normal settings in 4.05 or was it 4.1. Anyway it was the first time ever in 100s of times playing. I have two out of 3 of the Artifact Scale mails but don't remember ever finding the Power Dragon version. Maybe I should post this some where else.
