First win, and a lot less easy cheesy than had been promised (or maybe I just suck). Getting pets to do what you want is much more difficult and frustrating than just doing it yourself. The early game a bit pathetic (guess which totem I abused?), but the middle game was tough trying to find decent corpses and constantly running out of mana (then away). Summoning uniques in the late game made my life very painful, but at least I had plenty of restore mana and my own summoners by then. No cheaper IMHO than a fireflash spamming sorcerer, or curse-using swordmaster, and so on. Killing Sauron on Mount Doom proved very painful, but Morgoth's death was almost an anticlimax by comparison (almost). PDSM of immunity covered almost all resists, so after that I could pick and choose equipment fairly liberally. Ring of Flare saved my life several times and made it much easier countless more.

Given it's only my first win, I thought it wise not to try my luck in the void.
