Found a Mountain Ogre carrying Hithlomir, and figured that was the level feeling. Then a randart ring, but nothing special. Found a large spiral vault and figured out how to get into it. Lots of patience in cleaning out the vault, and then started ID'ing the loot. Found the Anchor and Rohirrim both just sitting in the vault. Getting quite happy already, but then I found that an Ogrillon Priest dropped Ringil and a Cave Troll dropped Dethanc! And just for fun, an Ogrillon also dropped Careth Asdriag.

The first time I ever saw Ringil, and the poor hobbit decided to be an Eru-worshipping Geomancer. I told him that he should have listened to his mother! ;)

Ringil is a nice blade.

It is blessed, so you could use it, but you could not use Geomancy that way.

Perhaps you'll find a nice Mage Staff of Sorcery + 200% to make you overpoweringly potent.

I'm impressed with Firdo's continuing luck. In addition to the triple-immunity armor he got on Moria 37 (really useful for a geomancer), he also got a couple of things I've never seen before: a Vampiric Small Sword of *Slay Dragon* (1d6) (+10,+5)(0%) (+0) with the vampiric CON cut balanced by the *SD* increase, and a randart shield with cold immunity.

Latest struggle was Fumblefingers' 17 fallen angels on Mordor 44. Their drops yielded all the tomes Firdo needed, plus Isildur, Aglarang, and Taratol.

Now debating whether to wield Ringil for the speed and swap in a Mage Staff when I need geomancy, or just stick with the Mage Staff...
