Just found Thorin, Elessar and RoS(+9) as a result of slaughtering a dozen bile wyrms for a princess quest. The game was kind of munchkn for a while after finding the Fountain of Augmentation. But normal speed +5 and lack of artifacts was making it kind of tough again. (I was reduced to using edged Westernesse just for the CON, despite terrible accuracy penalty for non-artifact ammo.)

I'm just about ready to take on the big boys; lack of dragon pits in this game is killing me for scrolls and potions.

Damn, it took 6 kills and 2 failed attempts (interrupted by Hrus) to get Sauron to drop The One. Finally can get this over with. Don't know if I want another immunity, or a little more speed...

Next time I'll make sure to save the Acid brand Seeker Bolts for the last 3 stars especially.

3rd time for Mt Doom is the charm. It really helps to pre-stock the entrance with Slaying ammo....

As a bonus, Sauron teleported into one of the rooms you can come back to, so killing him was actually useful...

Sigh.... I did not succeed in making a final dump while quitting. This guy did manage to kill Morgoth immediately after this dump.

Hah! Found a copy of the final dump after all.

This guy was wearing Celeborn for the final battle, in swap with RDSM IM_ACID/IM_ELEC+RNETH.

Left the DSM for future use in Mt Doom.
