Find of staff of wish at clev 30 odd REALLY helped, allowing me to nab a nice staff of wizardry, PDSM and boots of speed that I will probably be used into the endgame (unless if I find feanor, bladeturner or gandalf of course. ;-)
Sorcerors really rock in tome, and in reality thunderlords make the perfect sorceror class, despite the huge exp penalties. The good stats, high hp, targetted teleport, near-instant recall and free resist/flight are extremely valuable to aid survivability, and with detect monster, makes ironman_rooms not that bad a choice. Gothmog, Ancalagon, Necromancer are already dead... will Sauron/Morgy follow?
What I need now:
MORE spellbooks
Life potions
Get to level 50, and do gondolin
Find staff of gandalf(hopefully)
Get something with water breath, and kick ar-pharazon's ass.

Yes, in case you are wondering, this character is a gross perversion of Tolkein's original. But who says Eonwe was a warrior? Who says he couldn't have used magic? (Tolkein probably, but what does he know... :D)
