A bigger challenge than my Death HM, to be sure. And I doubt any other class lends itself so well to using the Poison Needle! On a bad run, it might take 20 rounds to kill a greater dragon. When I picked up my first show stopper bad mutation (Manic Depressive) I quit the quest, removed it, and this is what I am left with. Pretty decent ... I have to figure on the mandatory Moron mutation, but probably, I can survive that. +4 Str, +4 Con and an Elephantine trunk are probably more valuable. Heck, even the intrinsic phase door is pretty good. I have to watch out for Xiombarg, though. He is pretty fickle ...

Just like a New Life, except you keep your mutations. I lost 2 points of Con, but, gained 4 points of Str and 1 point of Int. Life Rating at 107%, so not too bad after all. I did have a moment of panic when it happened, fearing the worst.

Poison resistance has been elusive all game. It has been so bad that I was hoping for Stone Mask from Dio a while back, but no such luck. +4 Int means I can lose my Super Computer brain. At this point, the only mutation I find interesting is Blink, and that's hardly worth the 90% biff to regeneration.

So, calming, I eventually prevailed. Liberal Life, *Healing*, Restore Mana were required, but the Glaive proved to be my best option.

Damn, I now want to play a class with more than 3 base attacks :D
