Noticed that close-command doesn't as direction. Didn't found option for that so I guess also disarm doesn't ask that either. I would like to have that option back.

Because it's SDL sound, not the SDL port. Sound is initialised separately from display.I probably have, but why would this be a problem if the SDL module is never invoked and no calls are made to the SDL library? (Sorry if this is a really ignorant question) I've also compiled support for x11 and curses but there aren't any complaints from these libraries ...

Out of curiosity, why do you want a directional prompt if there's only one option (i.e. one adjacent trap/open door)?Comment

Exactly. I seem to get into loop of close door - open door: expecting to give direction I bump to a door I just closed which in turn opens it. Rather annoying with breeders other side of the door.

Is it just me, or are the experience potions now a lot more shallow than they used to be? I found four before I have even got to 1500' and result is that my char is now way ahead of my equipment which leads all kinds of situations I'm not used to.Comment

Just found Narthanc lying on the ground at dlvl2. That's a game-changer!

Sadly it looks as if we've hit some kind of infinite loop because we've been stuck at 93 runs for over 24h now. I'm running it in the background so it *could* be simply that something's gone wrong with the logging (the process is still going strong), but there's no way to tell. If it's still not finished when I get home I'll restart it in the foreground, so I can keep checking on it.

I'm in the rather strange situation (for me at least) where I've squelched all non-artifact weapons at dlvl30. Firstly because I'm getting regular artifact weapons and secondly because I can't be bothered IDing all the egos when I've already got Maedhros, Narthanc, Nimthanc, Elvagil, Forasgil and a couple of others. Maybe Funt III has inherited his daddy's luck with artifacts, but I'm beginning to suspect this is not the case.
Having said that, I did just encounter a Dreadlord at dlvl28 which was a bit of a shock! He was worth three character levels to me, so I forgive him!Comment
