          Having this definitely made my character's death highly disappointing. *sigh* (Died to raw magic from Mouth of Sauron).

               resistant to fire, and 477 vs. others.

            My level 25 HE Mage just found a randart ring at DLvl 23!

            The Ring of Lobel {cursed}
            Found lying on the floor in a vault at 1150 feet (level 23)

              I am really curious how something like this can get created. Is -19 speed as likely as +19 speed ? Probably not, since +19 speed can only appear on a few randarts with highest power, whereas -19 has no such limitation. This thing is based on Beruthiel. Without the negative mods, it would be in the line of Deathwreaker I guess.

                      For my level 16 ranger.. makes me kinda slow but completely worth it

                        It was given to you as a reward.
                        Reward from a ToME 2 princess quest. Not particularly powerful, but the radius 5 light is very nice, and the combination of powers feels rather coherently thematic.

                            You'll never need to illuminate another room. Together with reasonable equipment, that'll get radius 9 light.

                              @Pete: In tome, light radius is capped at 5 I believe.

                              My priest has been struggling to get wisdom up all game, so I am very happy about this find:

                              +6 wisdom.
                              Provides immunity to Fire.
                              Provides resistance to Dark, Nether.

                              When activated, it increases your AC and to-hit bonus for 1d48+24
                              turns.
                              Takes 175 to 194 turns to recharge at your current speed.
                              Your chance of success is 87.3%
