I've only played with standarts before. This is my very first randart found in my first game playing with randarts.

My old variant DaJAngband:
http://sites.google.com/site/dajangbandwebsite/home (defunct and so old it's forked from Angband 3.1.0 -I think- but it's probably playable...) -
I was imagining more like tacky 70s leather armor with polka dots and fur, but suit yourself I guess...Comment

Good Goat, man! That will take only 10 turns to beat Morgoth, and 5 to beat Sauron. Even Ungoliant is a reasonable target. Or the Tarrasque. And ludicrously, it doesn't even aggravate. It's mere presence in the dungeon should send monsters fleeing.Comment

I know this isn't as sexy as an 11-dice Mace of Disruption, but my ironman Rogue was very happy to find this triple-immunity ring:

Found lying on the floor in a vault at 3600 feet (level 72)
+6 intelligence.
+3 wisdom.

force.
When activated, it sleeps all non-unique creatures within line of
sight.

Here's a pretty decent end-game melee weapon to check out: http://angband.oook.cz/ladder-show.php?id=24458
If I had made certain other endgame gear decisions I could have dealt even more damage, but who needed it. That's a lot of damage.Comment
