Though not my best character on paper, he was certainly the one with the most potential. Having found a nice weapon (of Clubs), he was able to simply walk around on DL45 bumping into things and killing them. A first for any of my Steam characters, and that with a NeoCombat skill of only 6. I actually felt as if I could dive deeper without the fear of imminent death. Oh well!

Is there a provision in Steam that keeps you alive at 0 HP. This character managed to achieve 0 HP several times during the course of his adventures and even managed 0 HP 0 WP once after phasing into a pit of Infernal Troglodytes. He IMO should have died, but the RNG, in it's infinite generosity granted him a second chance from which he TL'ed and healed himself. I was very sure I was dead upon seeing where the phase landed me. I had about 6 Trogs surrounding me. That coupled with me previous 0 HP experiences leads me to believe that Steam has a certain forgiveness built into it.
