I can't go inside the vault - no way of IDing or disarming traps.have been luring beasts out after wounding them via runecraft/armageddon/gravity or thaumaturgy/disenchant, because if i kill them in the vault i lose their stuff.

When I get level 50 if i have a way of IDing things and maybe one or two more books i will leave for home.

I have no idea what the ring is good for. Also, i use Ringil cuz there seems to be no magic penalty to wearing it whatsoever. I switched it out with a mage staff and no fails changed, etc.

I pasted in some of this from the spoilers, i only actually *ID*ed a couple of things.
I also have next to me:

Runes: Sphere, Armageddon, Gravity, Protection, Knowledge
Potions: Healing(2), Restore Mana(2)
Wands: Stone Prison, Speed
Amulets: Reflection, Serpent(+4)
Rings: Strength(+5), Con(+3)
Misc: Staff of ID, Mage Staff of Mana 40%, Rod (100/100)

After I drop some of the artifacts I will take most of this up.

Any advice? I will swap Nauglamir in for Evenstar, and Flare in for the =Int+3.
Probably throw away the Int, Strength and Con rings, staff of ID, Rod of nothing, amulet of serpents, maybe reflection.

Keep the mage staff of mana after I think of one spell to save to it. not sure which. All my runes are valuable, in a pinch i would drop gravity and sphere. Gravity behind a wall is like chaos, you occasionally get more than you bargain for as you blink the monster over the wall next to you, but some things are resistant to disenchant and sound.

I think i haven't lost any % to fail so far to using Ringil, which is odd. I want to find good boots, and maybe a shield (after all, i'm not melee).
I will also wait till i am level 50 to go up.

I scan constantly for newly generated monsters and use the Vault to hide behind and pot the new things as they are spawned.
