Arinyth, a Dunadan summoning/melee bard made it to the Nether Realms but died before getting to Tiki and NickLeYeek, a Yeek thaumaturgy using bard made it to Melkor, but died fighting him.

Good luck with him/her/it. Taking barehand characters into the void and nether realms is awfully tough because they usually have lowish to-hit bonuses for melee character and thus have serious problems hitting things.

Kyra, on the other hand, has a startlingly high to-hit bonus for a barehand character (+142 is really quite impressive for barehand) and thus might actually have a shot. Best of luck.

While the praying-to-Tulkas melee bonus does not apply to barehand, Divine Aim most certainly does, and it works very well. BerserkStrength+HeroicBallad+Crushing Blow+high level Divine Aim=large amounts of damage per blow. Plus, he gets stone prison out of it.

Not enough mana to teleport away and the undead were doing 800 damage or so per character turn. My teleport items were dropped as well. Kyra hasn't had any problem killing enemies in melee yet, but I am thinking maybe level 150 enemies are much tougher than level 127 ones.
