I've run quite a few Yeek Hermit Bards by now, and they all died in the endgame. Get to Trone, pow, mana bolt, he kills me. Get to Maeglin, pow, summon uniques, he kills me.

I clearly needed a better way to conduct myself at high levels.

Melkor worship does just that. Level 45 Curse cuts my melee opponents down to a level where I can actually deal some damage to them, and my laboriously acquired extra blows give me the punch I need.

Music is just kind of a bonus for this character; she uses Heroic Ballad and Flow of Life in battle sometimes, but sometimes just hacks and slashes.

Destroyed the One Ring (and promptly returned to Melkor worship). Sauron happened to be on Mt. Doom, so took care of him too. Now it's just Angband, with Melkor at the bottom.

Looks like it could be a winner...
