Decided on Troll so I could get corruptions without worry of Troll's Blood. I decided on a Dark Priest as opposed to a Demonologist because it just feels more *evil* (and the corruptions will provide a superior skill.) I'm finding the healing benefits make up fairly well for the less damage due to lack of swordsmastery.

Currently scumming the bottom of Erebor, waiting for the Demonhorn of Gothmog to show up so I can complete the set and make it worth while to wear...

Oh, I didn't realize it until I'd been using the Balrog form alot, but it gets you a bonus attack per round. (i.e. 7 blows a round instead of 6).

Very impressive character, I must say. I imagine you wearing Demonset of Gothmog, casting Demonblade, healing yourself with Abosrb Soul (it shoud give approximetely 100hp/monster), and instakilling foes thanks to Touch of Death (does it work on uniques?).

As for the extra number of attacks. Note that I have purchased extra blows(1) and (2), and am a priest. I should have 6 attacks max, and in this dump, I'm not wearing any equipment of extra attacks.

Fortunately, the Spear of Orome is light enough that I get my max of 6 blows a round even without the extra dex the Balrog form provides.

Btw, more dangerous than Touch of Death to unqiues is level 50 curse. -50 to AC and -7 to speed (among other things) per casting. And since it has something like a 30% chance of triggering against even a level 100 monster per hit while praying... Well, unqiues tend to be very easy to deal with even without instant death.
