I agree with the curse thing. Even with only lvl 35 my Troll Swordmaster could run circles around Sauron and Morgorth after the first few attack rounds. On the other hand, I used the other spells granted by Melkor just a few times.

Oh, I forgot to mention: this character wound up with two Elfstones (wearing one and one in the inventory) because of a bug on Mount Doom that allows multiple artifacts: for some reason if you find an artifact on Mount Doom the game doesn't register it as being created.

Now this character is going to retire and return to what he truly loves: managing his collection of rare and valuable drums.
