Anyway, the second one killed me. You'll note that I *do* have acid resistance, which means that each rust monster meat did 750 points of damage to me before the acid res. kicked in (assuming they each did the same amount of damage).

Ahh - I've stayed away from monster meat since I had a lvl 34 or so character instakilled by a mana blast when I hacked a dragon corpse. I've been told that generally two-legged monsters are safe to eat, but haven't been desperate enough to try it yet.
