    Oh, very funny.

After some months of no development, I'm currently working on low level code, but hoping to be back to actual gameplay some day...

See here for my latest forward planning.

Nice to see, that development continues, I have already started fixing some obvious bugs for myself.

If you could note bugs here, I will get to them eventually. Patches also accepted

Are there any spoilers available for FA? I think that I can muddle my way thru without them but spoilers are damn nice to have IMO?

Only monster.txt in /edit folder, you can look into /info/spoil/modifying_info.txt_files.txt or into source code for effects of monster special attacks and spells. There are also good spoilers for Oangband, and there are not so much difference between O and FA combat system and monsters.

I like that chests generally have good stuff and that scrolls of acquirement actually have stuff that you would want to acquire. Good job Nick! BTW what are the max attacks per class, I was surprised to find that I can get six attacks as a rogue.

Credit to O maintainers, not me.

Yes, no hard caps for classes - O feature again.

Just to build on Nick's reply, 6 is the max for all classes - though with the extra attacks speciality you can get 7 when you make the roll. There are no "extra attack" weapons in FA.

                    Yet another question...

How do resistances work here as compared to V? And can you be immune to any attacks in FA?

Multiplicatively by percentage. So if you have a 40% RFire object wielded, and you wield a 30% RFire thing, then your resistance goes to 40% + (30% of the remaining 60%), or 58%. Or, equivalently, 30% + (40% of the remaining 70%), or 58%. Isn't maths wonderful?

And can you be immune to any attacks in FA?
Yes, but only really with an immunity item (and the inventory is never completely protected). On the other hand, you'll see lots of high level characters with RBase all in the 80s and 90s because of the accumulation of several resistance items.

Thanks Nick, here is another question...how does Nexus scrambling work in FA. I'm assuming that once you have any Nexus resist you are fine. Am I wrong?

BTW Math is NOT my strong point. Hey I'm an artist...logic and art don't tend to work that well together: )

You need 20% or more of given resist, to avoid side effects.

With the small caveat that poison is 80% to avoid being poisoned.

Are the Oangband spoilers pretty much the spoilers for FAangband? Thanks : )
