This is my most powerful character ever and only the second ever to get to the endgame (the first, also a Dwarf Priest, dropped to the Tarrasque, largely because I had completely forgotten about the Resist Heat/Cold spell.) I think my consumables stock is probably adequate, except that I plan to use the aggro crossbow for the final battles and need to find ammo. Lo and behold, when I just loaded this character for a few minutes to do a dump I run across these ego bolts of I kind I never dreamed existed. I'm trying to finish off the uniques, but I can't seem to manage Qzzulzup, who seems like one of the worst things to pop up. Just can't get him to stay in a reasonable place to fight.

Any advice on equipment or stuff I should be looking for in particular would be greatly appreciated.

Caspanion + weaponmastery + Pauragean[sp?] would solve your con problem. Unfortunately, you probably already tossed the gloves. Look for gauntlets of combat or Cambeleg.

If you use the xbow, that will get full con too.

I recommend carrying a huge stack of ?phase for the two big fights. If you don't like to buy out the stores, you should consider collecting them at home. Also, !hero makes a significant difference in how often you will hit with a bow. !berserk in addition is even better, but they are not normally sold in the stores.

First winner ever! 13 or so years of playing this game on and off, and 140 characters in this one's lineage over the last few years. This character was pretty smooth sailing since I picked up the boots in a GV on about DL55, then fell through a trap door in same and landed a couple rooms over from a RoS +9.

Sauron fell to OODs without much trouble, along with Drauglin and Khamul who were caught in the splash damage while keeping him bottled up. Morgoth got a few bolts + melee, using the strategy of destructing most of the edges of the map first. I hadn't registered that potions of Life restore all stats as well, but that helped make the final fight pretty problem free.

Lungorthin was the only surviving unique of note (that I know of,) along with Tom the Stone Troll and both sons of Ulfang (although I'm pretty sure I saw one of them in the final fight and he was buried by Morgoth.)
