Took a break from ToME to try the new V, now with squelch-option (yay!). I like the changes very much. There remains one major annoying thing imo: *id* scrolls are way too rare, at least for random-artifact users like me. After clearing a rich pit I often had to scum the bm for half an hour or so to find out what the artifacts did. Also, a bigger home inventory would help. Theres not enough space to properly juggle resists, and being able to devote a house slot to *id* scrolls instead of having to carry them ("some of your scrolls of *Identify* got burned!") would also help.
