Everything was going well untill I forgot to detect traps in the first level of Mount Doom and triggered a trap of drop all items. Obviously, my boots of Rohan (+8 speed) and my crown of the mages (the only source of nether resistence) were burned by lava. After that, I was forced to make changes in my equipment, which made my speed go from 19 to 8.

In spite of the situation, I still hoped I'd be able to survive the last level of Mount Doom, and indeed, killing the row of nightcrawlers and nightwalkers one by one, without the others even noticing (not to mention Carcaroth and The White Balrog), was very fun. When I tried the same trick with the Balrog Captain near the Great Wyrm of Power, things started going wrong: I didn't kill it in the first attack (I didn't expect to), and it cast a fire ball (which I didn't expect, either), waking the dragon, which quickly summoned a lot of his minions, ending the game.
