It was a randomly char and it didnt look to be a winner at first. Had to wear the fixed arts from the Caves for a very long time, but once I got Mimicry to 35 and my extra arms (dual-wielding that sweet Shadow Blade +4 attacks) things started to look very promising indeed suddenly. From there on it was just a case of not doing anything stupid, cause almost everything died in max 4 rounds. Once I got the Vorpal Blade it was ridiculously easy, Morgoth was a breeze (used 1 *Healing*, 1 mass geno from randart, 2 heals from randarts).
Skipped the special levels in Angband as part of the "dont do anything stupid" strategy. My kit was good enough at the time anyways. Good fun, on to the next random character....
