My first dump. Dump, heh heh.

Well you chose a good char to start your dumping history with!

This one's after some heavy playing over the bank holiday weekend. Managed to lose my level 31 Mormegil (still don't know how) so I need a new backup weapon to kill Ringwraiths with. Did some of the other dungeons, have yet to kill Glaurung and Golgarach, and Ar-Pharazon.

Well, thank you, thoth_amon. After posting this I realised it's kicked me about 60 places up the ladder.

Killed Trone, couldn't find Ar-Pharazon (any suggestions?), and am now kicking around 3000' on the Lonely Mountain. Managed to swipe a *really* cool ring from a random Speed Ring Shop. Also (finally) maxed out all my stats and found Narthanc (which I got up to wlvl30 in no time flat).

I have to try that monsters behaving stupidly option sometime, have you tried running without it on? If so, what is the difference anyway?

Since I took this dump (heh heh), I've switched it off, but I'm really not sure what the difference is. I tested it by going after Glaurung, the only difference seemed to be that he breathes more initially instead of summoning. I just ran around while he breathed at me ("I'm resistant to everything. Where's Morgoth?"). Eventually I managed to get him to call up a few Wyrms. I left Kain this morning, sitting on a mountain square in front of a long line of Great Wyrms of Chaos, Thunder, and Perplexity. Some fun for me when I get home from work :)

I've done all the side dungeons with the exception of Numenor (have to go back and see if I can find Ar-Pharazon) and Mount Doom (I'll go there after I find the Prrrecioussss). I'm currently in the upper levels of Angband. This is the first time I've actually survived long enough to make it into there. I'm almost regretting selecting 98 random quests.

On 20.4.2004 11:24 substatic@blueyonder.co.uk wrote:
Finally got him to clvl50. Just wandered (accidentally) into the Crypt. I shall now proceed to kick Thuringwethil's ass, to prove that Kain alone rules Nosgoth, err, I mean Arda :)

I'm actually kinda proud of this character. This last update kicked me about 70 places up the ladder and I just kicked the crap out of a level 50 death fate.

Ok, so I added the AQUATIC flag to Ar-Pharazon (otherwise he doesn't get generated). The thing is, he dropped the One Ring.

Destroyed the Precious and Killed Sauron. Have dumped 6 Nazgul Rings on top of the Great Fire, but can't seem to be able to destroy them. Stupid Ringwraiths...

OK, so I'm now diving fairly slowly. Got pretty much everything covered, but now I'm looking for immunities. And a Cloak of Air. And maybe Cubragol. Trying to get my Symbiosis modifier up so I can use the nifty abilities of my symbiotes.

Screw it. I couldn't be bothered with Razorback, so now I'm diving slowly again. Now I have a Princess quest for 14 Horned Reapers. This should be fun.
