As it turned out, the RNG was so nice I never attempted melee with Morgoth. Too many wands and fantastic bolts to go with my pretty good light crossbow. Amazed I never blew up any wands of annihilation. Thanks again RNG! Why do my rogues and mages always blow them up :/
