Like the Witch-king, Akhôrahil was of old, a lord of Numenor, who was corrupted and ensnared by one of the Nine rings of Sauron. After Sauron's fall at ther end of the Second age, Akhôrahil disapeared from Middle-earth. He returned after long years and awaited his master's return in the far South of Middle-earth. When Sauron himself re-appeared he ordered Akhôrahil and the other Nazgul to re-occupy Mordor and to secure it for the Dark-lord's return. He remained at Minas Morgul until the War of the Ring when, with his fell companions, he sought out for his master, the bearer of the One Ring. Thank you guys for hints. I've already enchanted partially Calris, but still looking for Scroll of *Remove Curse* to uncurse it. And looking for something with Poison Res, so I could replace my Barahir with Tulkas!
On 7.10.2008 23:21 Pete Mack wrote: you can probably make the swap for tulkas RSN. Poison never does more than 800 damage, and tulkas should give you that soon. With ESP you'll have no trouble swapping back or fleeing before most monsters pose a threat; the only danger is from drolems, and you will still get one turn to recover even if they breathe on you unexpectedly. With detection and ESP and 800+ HP, rpoison is not always worth the tradeoffs.

On 9.10.2008 21:04 Pete Mack wrote: Definitely replace RoSpeed with Narya. Fire immunity is great, and the extra damage is very important too. +19 normal speed is enough for almost all monsters. You might want to carry Staffs of Speed for some battles; save !speed for Morgoth.
Also, 18/118 CON really is bad. I'd wear Carlammas instead of Evenstar; you can keep Evenstar as a swap against Undead, but EXP drain is much less important than HP.
Together, they should give you another 150+HP. A RoCON or Tulkas instead of Narya would give you even more...
In fact, with your boots, you are likely not to need to use a RoSpeed at all. A few minor speed artifacts (Colannon, etc), and you can wear Elven rings on each finger.

This sword is so great except one thing: it permanently aggravates all monsters around, so my play style greatly changed: from being a hunter, I'm the hunted one... (sigh)

Gloves of Slaying / Combat would have been better than Cammithrim.
I'm not sure of the math, but the Glaive of Pain might have been better than Calris against M.

* save all ?banishment and ?mass banishment for M
* scum dungeon level 1 for !speed or level 3-4 for speed and !berserk if you are short.

That said, congrats on a near-win in a very respectsble turncount.
