A lot of firsts for me. Previous to this I always save-scummed. This is my first legit win on any roguelike, ever.

I started playing in the early 90s with the old FAngband variant. Not only did I save scum, but I found a bug that allowed me to kill any monster in one hit. Then I started playing Angband, then ZAngband, then PernAngband which became ToME. Since ToME I've never looked back, though I stopped playing between 2005ish til this year.

So anyway, back to this character. right after killing Morgoth I found the Ring of Precognition (which I did not even know existed.) Since figuring it out I've found the Robe of Great Luck with it...which has now allowed me to find Ringil (for the first time ever) and the Vorpal Blade.

I'm trying to find Sting and build up my potion stock to 99 Healing, *Healing*, and Restore Mana potions, find a decent number of Adamit Rods of the Istari to attatch some Healing rod tips to (though I may have to resort to Junkarts of Healing)

...once I feel ready I'm going to enter the Void for the first time ever. Fingers crossed! I've spoiled myself as little as possible.

I should point out that I tangled with a Nightwalker before I had Disenchantment Resist and managed to lose some of the bonuses on Fingolfin and Gimli before I knew what was in store :-(
