Necromancer power - 'Aura of Resurrection' - only works on adjacent corpses killed by 'hand'. Implementation opens up a lot of variables, total numbers controllable through power, highest monster rating vs player rating, failure rates, etc. .

I seem to have stumbled upon an odd bug for polearms masters. It appears that when a monster is auto-attacked after "[stepping] too close", if the attack kills the monster, and it drops an item (not a treasure or its corpse) into its own square, then the message "something picks up <item>" is generated and the item disappears. I don't know if this always happens under the listed circumstance but I observed it several times. Quite a fun class otherwise. I love the strong feeling of character progression the weapon-masters offer.

Thanks. This should be fixed for next release (3.1.5).

What would this add to their current power of Animate Dead? Currently, the necromancer can animate any corpse with a L1 power! (This seems OP at first blush, but then, you can only animate what you can kill so it works out OK).

Power was a wrong choice of word on my part. I was thinking more like an elemental aura, something that would have a chance work automatically, without using a player game turn.

"Currently, the necromancer can animate any corpse with a L1 power!"

Any corpse? [U] The Unicorn of Order does it work on Uniques? that would be pretty amazing.

Some way to store corpses, kind of like a capture ball but a spell, so you could raise them from the ground when you needed them would be really fun too. Capture balls are pretty awkward. Seems like a summoner type class should have a bit more options for that kind of thing.

Maybe make it so if they die at any point they get destroyed, and you have to find another one. To keep you from using the same GWOP all game.

Since Giants might become future ringbearers, does this include Olympians? Please tell me yes...

I think a good new feature would be artefact consumables. e.g. an artefact potion, an artefact wand, or an artefact sausage.

ToME has a special artifact potion called the Blood of Life, which resurrects the character upon death! Maybe implement this into PosChengband? If so, this would make late-game adventures VERY exciting.

Hmm, it might be easier/better (i have no idea) to let weapons be activated for capture. That would streamline it a bit i guess.

Ooh, a Soul Drinker. Captures creatures and binds them to his gear (powers change depending on monster), can release it to kill your enemies)

Well iv'e been trying out the many monster races, and evolving into new forms is really fun!! Beholder, Jelly and Death sword right now. It's very cool and makes for a lot of variation.

I just realized that for Ring and Death Sword, Lucky personality is an amazing choice. More good drops=more asskicking

Is there some sort of 'caution' option like cataclysm or DCSS where if you spot an enemy or get hit by something, you freeze? The amount of times I've kept walking while being pelted by arrows/spells from afar or being attacked by a sabre-tooth tiger out of nowhere have left me to need this.

Unfortunately, no. I recommend you set your HP threshold rather high (I use 60% personally). Press '=' then 'H' to set this option. Whenever you hp dips below this threshold, you get a message and the game waits for you to press the space bar to continue.

Hello, I was wondering if it would be possible for the Doppelganger to change appearance when he switches forms? Would be cool to look like a Snotling or Balrog. Would also help a lot knowing which form you are currently in if you like to change a lot like i do.

I can reset the visuals when you mimic, but this only works if you are using tile based graphics. ASCII graphics will still get the '@' character. This is all setup in lib/pref/xtra-new.prf and lib/pref/xtra-xxx.prf.
