The effort wasn't all impressive. I borrowed the Adam Bolt replacements from the Vanilla tileset and I'm not all that impressed with the shaft graphics, although they're passable once you become accustomed to them. I just couldn't visualize how to place an up shaft (presumably a hole in the ceiling) on the floor. Graphic submissions are wecome!!!www.mediafire.com/buzzkill - Get your 32x32 tiles here. I think I've seen this somewhere but I forget where. Is there a list of who guards each of the dungeons and what level they're on? Also, how useful is trap setting? My first winner: http://angband.oook.cz/ladder-show.php?id=10138Comment

There isn't usually, but I put one on the Competition 65 page.

Enormously. I use it in too many situations to list - basically any time you are not sure how to kill something, try a trap. Did you know you can modify the trap by using '+' on it? This gives you a variety of different traps (more as you level up) - a sturdy one which is less likely to break, a netted one for fliers, a poison cloud which is great for damaging packs of hounds so they'll stop hanging back, etc etc. It's one of the best things about playing a rogue - plus the fact that you get an extra one at level 25.Also, how useful is trap setting? One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne

Here's a useless bug report. Sometimes, I can see the full details of unidentified wieldables. If they have pseudoed, the pseudo is listed as well at the end of the first line. However, this behavior does not survive save and reload, so there's not much point anyone looking at a savefile.Comment

FA does have the feature of identical things always stacking regardless of ID status - does this look like it's related to that? Here's a useless bug report. No, nothing like that. Individual weapons, including a rapier of poisoning e.g.

I was wondering if maybe it could be related to things held in the pack through multiple pseudo cycles where unluckily they didn't pseudo, but somehow still got some sense status marked. I didn't actually check immediately for save/reload. I could see everything, then saved and restarted, then went to Gondolin and couldn't see any more until I identified. If I see it again I will try to guess some more. I know it has happened more than once.

Or maybe it worked in the dark and is a special unlight ability?

I told you it was a useless report. Well, mostly useless. Comment

Possibly - it certainly isn't Unlight related. Is it in the inventory, or on using 'I', or on the character screen, or some combination? Not that I'm actually all that worried - maybe I should just call it a feature, "temporary insight" or something. One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne

It happened when using 'I' on a weapon, both wielded and in the pack. I do not know whether it was on the character dump screen. It did not show up on the list for 'i'.Comment

Something slightly odd (probably a bug, though it might be my computer): on your (Nick's) latest dump of Splinter in Comp 65, it has

Yes, that's a bug - there's some fancy footwork required with extended characters, and it looks like I missed a step with printing the notes.
