Yes, this still needs fixing - I've been seeing it too.
On purpose - when no selling is on, the only things you can return to the shops are unknown flavour items for ID.

This is by design - the quiver has always been this way.
Switching to a subwindow doesn't really do anything (all input only affects the main window) - do you mean for opening the subwindows? I can look into that.
I think I want to keep the straight power ordering. This sort of personal preference is what inscriptions are for.
