I'm trying an antimagic monk, I'm vampire troll to get some resists and regen/berserk. It's working out pretty well, but I can't see antimagic as being THAT great, without some more exact combos. Like something that can use a darksword :).

I'm getting kind of bored, so I'll probably try to win a bit quickly from this point on. Gonna level myself to 50, and then try to fly through the rest of the game.

I had been planning on wearing Gorlim, but by the time I found it (level 98 angband) my kit was inflexible in regards to the weight of it, because the towns were all destroyed (I wore the one ring right when I found it) and I didn't have backup equpiment to switch in. My standard speed was only 22 (did normal tactics and exploration) but I had potions of speed and morphic oil of wolf for final fights.

I doubt I'll wear the one ring again, but had to do it once. The ability to change the world is the ultimate get out of jail free card. It seems to take zero time, and instant new level.

the next time I play antimagic, I'll definitely be playing something that can wield a darksword without disadvantage. Base antimagic isn't powerful enough.
