That's ok, the HP penalty is worth it. As monk wearing nothing but rings and amulet, Dodge will kick in and nothing physical will land. With One Ring, I also get most of my resists.

As for Am of Doom, just keep wearing it, when it's cursed you read a scroll of *remove curse*. Every time you do that, there's a chance of flipping the value. Since it's recursing, all you have to do it scumming for the recurse
