After several miserable attempts with sorcerers and rogues and assasins, I have decided to go back to my roots.

First time I've ever found an acquirement artifact.

First time I've ever found anything vampiric.

Still holding out hope that either of my 2 'thanc daggers will get the ultra-nifty vampiric feature. I do have the nack for getting them the drain experience flag.

I'm lugging around a lot of junk. I can switch to Sword of Gothmog and Gorlim Helm to crank up my damage 120%

Please, feel free to post random nonsense about my character, I love that sort of stuff.

All things of note are in Gondolin if you care to look, besides all the junk I'm toting around. Too bad that randart plate mail has -33 to damage. 3 immunities and +40% to health... *sigh*. I just can't bear to use it.
Still no luck leveling up the 'thancs. I think I'm just going to scum Erebor using Eru's identify level spell over and over till I come across the Long Sword of the Dawn or Sting.

Agh! This misadventures of Adunaphel continue. I managed to destroy Gondolin and lose a bunch of cool things. My vampiric dagger with 0% loss to health, a multitude of immunity randart armors, my helm of Gorlim and my cloak of air. Jeez. At least my junk randart of hallucination was saved in Bree...
I'm not sure what happened, I was fighting Maeglor and he was about 12 paces away from the stairs, and he simply dissapeared. I stayed near the stairs and waited for him, blasting away all the monsters... and he never showed up. I put on my telepathy amulet and started to look for him, but he dissapeared from the whole level! I got screwed.
Also, thanks to Eru I avoided death. Scumming 3600' feet at Erebor I got surrounded by 8 Greater Wyrms of Chaos and Law and got blasted to hell.
Wheee! What a fun trip this has been!

Ah, the benefits of being a total *scum*-bag!

I've the blood of life flowing through Adunaphel's veins.

Ringil is mine.

The hole in Res.Nexus is kinda annoying, but I just couldn't resist Lebohaum, or however you spell it.

ROG ROG ROGNOG! Rar! Wheeee!
Everything looks cosmic.

Oh yeah, the mass genocide junk is cool

Ah, more insanity for Adunaphel...

A randart potion for... a good nights sleep?! Has anyone ever seen this before. What the hell is going on? Does Adunaphel need a prescription to Restoril? When I kill Morgoth (big assumption there), I will drink this potion then. Until then, who has time for sleep?!?!?! ..(plus im a little scared of it)..

Okay, Now a miff... Anduril, flame of the west, unsullyable by any force of Sauron... OR SO IT SAYS. It got disenchanted by a ringwraith just like any other artifact. Unstainable indeed...

Otherwise things are going great. Just started my adventures in Angband. I still have lots of places for improvement while at the same time I feel real good about Adunaphel... so a good time was had by all - everyone else but me!

Alas, the blood of life has been drained from my body. It was making my skin itch anyway.

Found the Long Sword of the Dawn for the first time ever. Cranking it up to level 50 was surpisingly very fast with the clone feature. Monster farming Ancient Hell and Ice Wyrms for experience and treasure was a piece of cake.

I need to go find some *healing* and *life* potions so I won't die in Angband... again.

I guess I'll save the Long Sword of the Dawn for Uniques, cause I clone just about everything I touch.

Aha! Now I understand why my first Adunaphel could never find Morgoth.

Sauron is dead... permanently.
He was carrying the Great Rod Tip of Home Summoning... I've never found it before... it's pretty cool!

Shamelessy scummed the speed ring market for my two cool randart rings that each give me +9 attacks.

I've never fought Morgoth in this variant before. I know I need to stock up on a lot more *healing* and *life* potions.

I wonder if my to-hit is too low or if my a.c. is too low as well.

I think I'm going to go back to Erebor and farm Greater Wyrms with the Long Sword of the Dawn and try to find "Sting", and even more randart stuff. It would be nice to have a bolt of +3 extra attacks and a digger of +3 extra attacks as well.

Any advice on my character would be greatly appreaciated

I think I'll take it easy for a little while before I decide to go look up Morgy. Maybe Thanksgiving while I'm full of M.S.G.
Hey, that potion of "Nightcap" would taste pretty sweet on Turkey Day...
I hope I win...

Oh yeah, check out my Ring of Power of Ring~ of Power in the Mathom house. That's weird. Akhorahil dropped it the second time I killed him while I was fighting for my life on the top of Mount Doom. That was a really fun level, and I thought for sure I was going to die a couple of times.

After considering my task to be done, the ring destroyed, Morgoth vanquished, the hallucination mushrooms lost their flavor and strength, and thus I decided to drink the potion of death that Morgoth, already sensing my plight, left for me to find. As I prayed to Eru, I downed the potion slowly, remembering all the sweet victories and hard battles. My life ended, and my soul left my body but Eru told me that my task was not yet done... that there was more I could do. He spoke to me in song, and the music influenced me to seek death not in a bottle, but in the absolute horror of the Void, a realm that would surely claim my life if only for the marginal chance that I could actually succeed in banishing Melkor's spirit forever... and that only then could I seek to end my own life.
Eru resurrected me for this purpose, and it is thus that I begin my final quest in this... the third reincarnation of Adunaphel.

Well anyway, it was a fun trip and I'm quite happy about all the fun adventures I had with this character. Adios Adunaphel the 2nd.

Eru Swordmaster? Not as bad as it sounds, remember alot of the best artifact swords are blessed. Low levels must suck though.

I must admit, I'm horribly addicted to the *identify everything on the friggin' level* spell that Eru gives you if you pump enough points into prayer to get it. It even identifies the things that monsters are carrying so that you can see what they really have before fighting them and it automatically puts anything thats an artifact into the 'known artifact' list so if you're looking for say, The Long Sword of the Dawn, you'll know it's on the level by checking the artifact number. Ahhh, the exploitation is so horrible to admit to but all I really wanted to do was win without dying... well, I guess I did die... 4 times... but 2 of the 4 I was resurrected by Eru, (another great advantage) and once by the Blood of Life (Also found by the cool spell). I find that if I have that spell, I can have fun with the game, because I can pick and choose the monsters that I kill and not have to scrounge and identify loot for two hours of 'real time' when I'd rather be hacking stuff up to bits. In other words, if I'm not bored I won't get impatient and die a careless death which is what usually happens to my characters.

By the way, you can't make an Eru following Swordmaster out of the starting gate. I didn't even bother worshipping Eru until I became level 32 since that *identify* spell isn't attainable (from my experience, at least) until then. So, I was an athiest until then with no penalty, but when I did start worshipping I took a considerable hit in max damage. I think it was 300-400 max loss at the time. I changed to using the Demonblade of Gothmog which I suppose is so *unholy* that it didn't have a penalty... I thought that was weird.
