Wow, possessor monks (ok, Loremaster, but he used barehand combat) are a blast to play! So many bodies, so little time! Slambo! was also my first character to ever complete the entire god quest. The advanced version of Divine Aim doesn't match Melkior's curse, but its still a pretty rocking spell. With the spell on, Slambo! appeared to be averaging around 1,000 damage per round and that was at level 38 with no damage or to hit bonuses at all. In a dragon body using the various rings of damage and slaying I'd picked up, he could have done some real damage. Ok, not terrifying, but not too shabby for a mid-level character using (other than Flare) mediocre equipment.

Got an ettin body early on and used that to do the Gondolin House quest where I lucked into an AMHD. Caused trouble with that for a while, but lost it when the Phial of Undeath was equiped by a switching trap and I couldn't find a scroll of *remove curse* anywhere and I dumped the body to try to escape the curse. Spread to rings and other jewelry (so I had to dump all of my equipment except my light source and my helmet) and ended up permanently knocking my stats down a total of 25 or so points. Didn't know it could do that. Seriously wrecked him for a while.

After that, tried using Durin's Bane's body for a little while. Hit points were nice, but I accidentally lost the body while playing with the powers.

Finally, I then played to the end with a Knight Templar corpse. The hit points weren't very good, but the inherent powers rock - Resist base, poison, fear, nexus, nether, and disenchantment, plus reflection and +10 speed, and the powers include summon angel and haste self.

I had corpses from Shelob, a Dracolisk, and another AMHD dragon ready (among many others), all of which would have given a lot more hp, but I was in love with all those resists and abilities. I decided to wait until I got a wyrm corpse before trading and that was my undoing.

While cruising Erebor, I ran into Azriel, Khamul, Dwar, and Medusa all in the same vault, on the same level I had already taken out Uriel (Flare made Uriel pretty easy).

I beat on Azriel for a while and knocked him down to about 6 stars when Khamul pushed to the front, so I beat on him instead. The folks in back were summoning and casting spells. I was very aware of Azriel's breath, but I had to get past Khamul before I could start on Azriel again. Never got the chance. I let Slambo! get too low on hp, so the healing potion only brought him up to 500 or so. Azriel breathed nether immediately after and Slambo! was toast.

I'll have to try another one of these guys.
