The RNG is just toying with me at this point.

Had a very nasty run-in with Ungoliant the Unlight - had to abandon a vault because of her, didn't even make it in the front door. Burned some Healing and some Restore Mana trying.

Second try at that depth ran into some of the higher paladin types which are a little more annoying than I'd thought they might be, but were tolerable (although burned another Restore Mana since I hadn't expected to need that much).

Then I had to kill Feagwath and The Mouth just to get _in_ the vault, both of which involved teleporting around the level. Then the Great Wyrm of Chaos decided to summon _another_ Great Wyrm of Chaos as well as a Great Wyrm of Law, both of which decided to bring more Great Wyrms into the fight... and then they brought in Glaurung.

I have a policy that if I teleport other something I have to at least take a shot at killing it afterwards, so I figured after I looted the vault I'd go hunting. The vault loot was mostly uninteresting... except for Ingwe. Ingwe gives me just enough wisdom to be able to swap out the +4 wis amulet, and gives me rConf, which lets me swap out my helm for Thranduil, which lets me swap out my whip of Gondolin for Theoden (which Glaurung was kind enough to drop), which let me swap out my ring of Con for more Speed (probably overkill but I might as well since I'm not going back to town until I'm done with this level). Also got Gil-galad and Caspanion out of Glaurung, so I'm rather happy about that loot drop.

I went and hunted down Khamul. Just Tselakus and The Cat Lord left for uniques on this level (7 total?) and I'll go back to town and resort everything. Other than my bow, light source, gloves and boots I think I may have swapped out every single equipment slot this level.

Still hoping for that last priest book.
