Tried for a stealth/song/smith build this time, using Aule for my initial smithing, and silence to keep me alive until I could get my key abilities. Planned on silence/assasination/focused attack/subtlety/cruel blow combo, once I had the points for it. Combination of greed and bad luck got me. Assasinated Gorgol, got the loot, and ran for the stairs one step ahead of his bodyguard. Call for help brought a couple wolves between me and it... OK, I have a Wolf-slaying spear. Into the room, and suddenly a roost. Birds everywhere, including on the stairs, and the orcish hordes are to the end of the corridor. Nothing to do but try to hack my way to the stairs, but I didn't make it. Should have tried the un-IDed herbs, as the rage might have done the trick but I didn't think of it in time.
