Graveyards full of Black Reavers make a mess out of the RNG's pretty dungeon...

    The dracolich breathes nether.
    You die.
    Oh... dracoLICH.

(Gnome mage had protection from nexus... but has to swap out a shield for nether protection.)

    (Had to, that is.)

Being swarmed by Red-Hatted elves and fleeing to the dungeon and back 3 times before a new @ is kitted out.

    Seriously though, that's pretty great.

Oops. I told you I had no idea.

Actually, right after I posted that, Bumblef*ck (cl39 hobbit Rogue) found a ring that when Activated restores Strength and Con, but makes him vomit. So I finally bought a Waybread... it was anticlimactic.

Generally, few of my characters carry food anyway. Once they get Slow Digestion, it's a waste of valuable inventory space.

That item you were looking for on the 3-7 level is
    Metal Lamellar Armour (-3) [58.+3]
when you're a kobold necromancer with about 3.5 lb.s of space left to carry

Yeah, I usually turn it off, but I recently had to reinstall my OS, and so had a fresh install of Angband and forgot to turn it off now that its the default.

Its pretty terrible. Enemies spam their best spells, including their healing spells over and over again, so you run away even more than you did before, and burn through way more consumables. REALLY brutal playing low stealth characters without access to the town.
