I noticed the thing when @ stumbled to a poison trap. I thought I could use the trap to rule out the rPoison rune. Upon closer inspection, I noted there that there is no {???} in the name of the ring, which I assume means, that all the runes are known.
In the save file, @ is standing next to a poison trap after triggering the trap while wearing the ring. And is in a poisoned state and still wondering if the ring provides rPoison.Leave a comment:

Weird bug that I just encountered, it is reproducible.
Start with a fresh character, knowing no runes. Generate a ring of resist poison and a ring of free action. Wear both. Generate a poison producing monster, and have it attack you. You will learn the rune for resist poison.
Examine the unID'd free action ring. It will say:
"It provides resistance to poison"
It will continue to say this, even if you remove the poison resist ring and get poisoned by something. It will only go away after you learn the rune of free action and fully ID the ring.Leave a comment:

Haven't got the slightest, if this has been reported before, but @ just found an Amulet of Teleportation {??}. That's probably too much information, since @ don't know teleportation curse yet.Leave a comment:

Forced decent issue at lvl 100
Well, a self-induced screwup of sorts, but one that creates an interesting challenge.
Level 100. I made a wee bit of a goof battling Morgoth. Hit up the staff of *destruction* rather than the staff of *healing* (logic was - use the staff of healing before touchy-drainy, so it was the first healing item to use. Part of the game plan.)
'Cept bonehead me kinda wasted a whole lot of playing time because I blew Morgoth off the level.
And I'm on a forced decent. Recall won't work, no stairs down, can't kill Morgoth.
Which means I'm stuck, stuck, stuck. Foreeeeeeever.Leave a comment:

I started a new game, and died when I tried to go down the first stairs.

Hey, it's just a death in town. Embarrassing, but it's not like you really lost anything.Leave a comment:

It's been a while since I played the game, but I think this issue has bothered me earlier too. In the picture the snagas are pouring from the door that the character thinks is closed. Apparently the door is not in the line of sight yet or something. The problem I'm having here is that the walls in sight are lit making one assume that the door is in sight too. Maybe the doors could follow the same logic with the walls here?
