      Most excellent!

Hey Shockbolt, I did some research and discussion and it sounds like we *can* ship your tiles directly in Angband, we will just include a notice expressing your license for the graphics. We'll package them separately in Debian but you won't have to worry about that.

So once you have your tiles completed please send them to either Blue Baron or myself so we can include it ASAP.

Awesome! Less messy and much easier for the Angband addicts.
I'm hoping you'll say you guys have managed to add support for tall tiles soon also

I'm saving these tiles to Dropbox, if you get that, I can include you to the folder and you can start picking tiles out of it as they're being finished. The way they're saved now is by folders named by the level they're found in.
Items, terrain etc will be saved the same way, and I'm holding my fingers crossed that in the end, Angband will also support custom painted shops for the surface village

Obviously, I'd need your e-mail to add you to the dropbox folder.

Added you to the dropbox folder now. Do keep in mind, I intend to go over all the tiles when the set is complete, so some of them might still get a makeover.

Angband building replacements. Treat these as unfinished examples, finished version will look much more detailed. What I've planned is to have somewhat similar building types for weapon trader, armor trader, home and general store. Then there will be some quite distinguishable tiles for each of the temple, black market, magic shop and alchemy shop.

For the weapon trader, armor trader, home and general store, there will be at least 4 variations, so when the village is generated, it won't mean that all houses will be made of for example stone or wood, but some of them might be of light wood, some of stone and some of dark wood, picked by random.

See the example tiles below, where 4 of each of weapon trader and armor trader is shown. currently each house is 2*64 pixels wide and 3*64 pixels tall:

If so, there shouldn't be a problem filling in the extra/different monsters as I'm working on the full list of monsters for Angband right now.
I would absolutely love to have a full set available for FAangband, but please don't feel pressured or anything - I'm not even sure when I'll get around to including the new tile-handling code from Angband.

I kinda feel like one of the nagas should have multiple sets of arms, and the spirit naga, being the most powerful, would be a good contender for that. But these are awesome too.

I hear you and I agree with you. What would be cool is a function that would allow for the same monster to be generated using 1-4 different tiles, picking 1 out of those for that monster. Take the forest troll monster for example: you enter a room with 4 forest trolls, you recognize all 4 as forest trolls but they appear slightly different.

The same could be done for the nagas and the rest of them: some nagas have 2 pairs of arms, some 1 pair, and they might even be dressed up differently in ways of armor, shields, weaponry.
