A selection of possible food items for Angband, more to come (contains beef jerky, hard biscuit, ale and wine that already are in the game):

Random cake found lying on the dungeon floor is the best cake.

Is that a dracolisk on the left? Because they aren't undead...and I don't think they have scorpion stingers.

I thought it was the dracolich?

I'm pretty sure I saw the dracolich posted earlier, and even then it wouldn't have a scorpion stinger.

If I were you, I would take out or seriously modify that pretzel in the bottom-left corner. It looks a lot like, hmm, how to say it, "processed output from food".

Apart from that, I add my compliments to the thread, the tiles are great.

We need a wider selection of alcoholic beverages so I can stockpile them in my home to better celebrate my small victories.

... and the slice of pie is clearly a mimic.

It's a lvl 65 Osyluth, humanoid demon with a scorpion tail.

They're named "kringle" here in Norway, and some variants do look like poop:

Hehe, yeah, the pie does look like it has a smile with blue teeth

I've planned to paint several more types of beverages such as bottle of water, elvish wine, dwarvish hard liquor, cask of ale, cask of wine.

Also more food stuff items: elvish waybread (not just a loaf), pan with fried eggs and bacon (obviously left behind in a hurry by a hobbit), various pastry, piece of cured rat meat, fried chicken, other fried meat etc...and some more fantasy ones.

At least we'll have the tiles, and with time perhaps they'll even be added to Angband

                                Kringle rule!

My family makes kringle for holidays that are kind of like a cross between doughnuts and pretzels.

Similar to these I think: https://phatfoodie.wordpress.com/201...egian-kringle/
