Dropped by Orfax, Son of Boldor, at 350 feet (level 7)

Provides resistance to Lightning, Nether, Disenchantment.
Provides protection from confusion.
Sustains intelligence.
Slows your metabolism.

Too bad it's not WIS (I'm playing a paladin), but I'll take it.

Yeah, pConf is a game-changer, definitely. Poison resistance is another that I'll prioritise over a lot of other abilities.

Not a level feeling but just started a brand new game with HT mage. First thing I meet is Farmer Maggot and he dropped Red Dragon Scale Mail!
Too bad activation success rate is not great but it doesn't matter trying it 2-3 times because when it does work, it wipes out anything at this stage of game. And recharge is only 50 turns. High AC doesn't hurt either.

This dwarf paladin finds the Battle Blessings book at 500 feet!
(not yet useful per se - but I can afford the extra weight because of my speed ring
