Found a copy of Trumps of Doom in the Thieves quest, and that provided me with the early cash to breeze through the low levels.

Just finished Vapor mutations. In exchange for swapping my 18/38 DEX and 14 WIS to 14 DEX and 18/38 WIS, I gain a few nice things, including Magic Resistance, Tentacles, and Panic-Hit.

Still no Staff of Speed sighted yet though... had already spent about 10 or so days teleporting around to try to buy one >_<

In case no one else has documented this yet, I exploited one other bug with this character:

For the Tower Quest in Telmora (right after Vault), if you go up the stairs, you exit but the Quest isn't considered failed. The terrain is *supremely* to the player's advantage, so I fight there between clvl 20 and clvl 25 these days.

Cloning Pits complete... finally. It was a nightmare. It started easily enough, when I easily assassinated the Father Dagons and Gachapins without trouble. However, when I walked up to my random draw near Bokrug... I realize it's Malekith. Immediately he summoned a Zephyr Lord and a Death Knight. The Zephyr Lord then kindly summoned lots of Inertia Hounds (!), while the Death Knight summoned a Master Lich.

After way too many iterations of killing Inertia Hounds one at a time by luring them out, only to have the Zephyr Lord summon more, a Blink Dog happily brought me close to the source of the annoyance. Malekith took a good 3 !oHealing to finish off. In terms of the take, nothing too impressive: Holheneth and Isildur.

I actually did Doom Quest 2 first, to get my Staff of Healing. That wasn't too bad, and yielded Sacred Knights, which is really nice at this point.

I didn't notice it the first time around either. After killing Ashram, I was preparing to charge straight to the dlvl 44 quest. I was doing a double-check on dlvl 43 before going in, and Lo and Behold I noticed that Ringil was on the "appeared artifacts list." I had to backtrack all the way to dlvl 39 to find it. Well worth the detour though :-D

Found Brand off one of the Greater Titans in the Old Castle.. and it was generated with RShards! Wow!

After playing around in the Dragon Pits for a little, I found a !oPolymorph. Drank it after a bit of deliberation, and it gave me Polymorph Self. So, I spent the next half hour continually morphing myself until I picked up "Resist Elements."

Also picked up a large slew of other mutations by the time I got it, include -4 STR and -3 DEX. Decided that wasn't acceptable, and continuted mutating until I got the plus versions of those.

Also had a bit of a dilemma what race to end up with, the two finalists were Half-Titan and Amberite. Amberite is really nice because Rod of Restoration is by no means a guaranteed find in any game, but I decided I wanted free RChaos and extra HD more for now.

And I appear to be female now... >_<
